Sophie and I had a girl day. I had been planning it for some time and had only told Sophie that I had a surprise for her. Needless to say she was on pins and needles. I gave her just a few clues as the date approached. They were 1) we going with friends, 2) she had to wear a dress and 3)it was a performance. She had a couple of guesses but never got it. When we arrived at the theater I told her we were seeing a play - Cinderella. She was beside herself with excitement. The play was fabulous. It was done by a local theater company and all the performers were teenagers.
After the play the Sophie and her friends talked with a member of the orchestra and met a few of the cast. Sophie said her favorite part of the play was the wedding and then meeting Cinderella. We left the theater and headed to Nordstrom for lunch. It was yummy!
When we arrived home Scott asked Sophie if she had any idea what her surprise was before we got there. She said, "No. I just knew it would be fun!"

Glad you had such a fun time. Can't wait to do things like that with Ashby someday.
