This past Saturday was Scott's birthday. We really don't do presents anymore. There just always seems to be to many other things to buy!! However I had seen Jimmy Fallon do an interview about his new book Thank You Notes. It seemed like something Scott would find entertaining. So the kids and I loaded up and headed to Barnes and Noble.
On the way there I told them that this was a quick trip. No looking around!! We were going in, asking where to find the book, buying it, and getting out. No looking around!!
That was until I saw this bag!!! And I knew I needed it!!
It was on 12 dollars and some odd change with the purchase of 2 books!! Just 2 books!! Otherwise the bag was like 25 dollars. Well I could certainly find another that I wanted to read if I just looked around a bit.
And that is just what I did.
And this is just what I found.
I have read 2 other Mary Kay Andrews books. They are just plain 'ol fun!
So there I had it. 2 books. The Jimmy Fallon book for Scott and the Mary Kay Andrews book for me. Then I picked out which bag I needed.
Feeling guilty I let Sophie and Sam look around in the kid's section for a few minutes.
Then it was time to check out.
That is when I saw a display of all the Janet Evanovich books. Several people have told me that I would enjoy these books. So I thought I should just go ahead a get the first one.
My friend Jodi would be so proud. She LOVES these books!!
Seriously NO SELF CONTROL! NONE!
I wouldn't be at all surprised it I ate this whole container of ice cream while reading my new books.

LOVE Mary Kay Andrews! I've read them all except for one which I just got. Loved Janet for a while too, until that series got so predictable I wanted to scream! But you'll enjoy those first ones. Happy reading!
