A Recipe

A friend texted me this morning and asked for my cobbler recipe.
So I thought it was a good day to share it with you too!
It is easy peasy and I cannot take credit for it.
I found it in Southern Living a few years ago.

Any Fruit Cobbler
(I used apples because we had an abundance after going to an orchard).

1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cup of fruit (frozen or fresh)

Whisk together 1 cup sugar, flour, and milk just until blended; whisk in melted butter. Pour into a lightly greased 12x8 inch or 11x8 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle fruit and remaining sugar evenly over batter.
I add extra sugar if I am using blackberries.
Bake cobbler at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown and bubbly.
I really like my crispy around the edges so I bake mine a little longer than an hour.
Top with a scoop of ice cream.

Most importantly enjoy the yumminess!!!
