Last night at bedtime Sophie gave Sam a thank you card. Inside the card it said,
Dear Sam, Thank you for being my brother. You make me laugh. I love you Sam.
How sweet is that?
Sophie and Sam have both been learning about Native Americans at school.
Yesterday when they were playing I overheard Sophie tell Sam that "they were a nocturnal people."
Today both of them were wearing Native American costumes. I walked into our hallway to find Sophie "spearing" her unicorn pillow pet. With a light saber. She informed me that Sam was teaching her to hunt.
I am still amazed that God chose me to parent these two wonderful children.
They are fun, creative, smart, kind, loving, and happy.
I tell them daily how very thankful I am to be their mom. And that they are proof that prayers do get answered.
So tonight as a go to sleep, I thank God for all the blessings he has given me.
