Amazing

Yesterday was the 3 year anniversary of my mother's passing. It was a hard day, but really it wasn't any harder than any other day. I miss her every day. Everyday has hard moments.
My family seems to quietly mark this day with simple love you, thinking of you, sending you hugs text messages.
I did thank my Facebook friends for their thoughts and prayers because several people had commented on my wall.
That's when something amazing happened.
I got all kinds of wonderful messages. I want to share them with anyone who reads this blog because these comments made me smile.

Hope your day is filled with wonderful memories.

Hugs my friend.

Wonderful lady.

She was a sweet person.

Love you.

Many thoughts and prayers for you.

I wish this was one walk we weren't both on so soon. Sending you a hug I hope you can feel.

Sending hugs and prayers.

Love all you girls. Your mom was a great influence in my life.

Your mom had us do a "drive by" (when she wanted to know something no violence was involved). It made me fall in love with her! Sending prayers and peace to you.

It is so hard to lose a parent.

Thinking of you.

She was a wonderful and caring lady.

Very special lady Carrie. I'm glad I was one of her favorites. lol (from my first boyfriend -ha).

She was so beautiful.

She was one of a kind.

She was an amazing mother and person. Words cannot say how important she was to me.

I always loved coming to your house (usually when we cooked up a plan while we were supposed to be paying attention in church). She was one of the grown-ups who was fun to talk to. Such a special lady.

You are in my heart and prayers.

Love you.

A special sister in law.

Hugs sent to you. Love you girl.

She was my first real adult friend. She always gave me advice about responsibility.

We were like sisters.

We all miss her and her laugh.

What a great friend she was!!

She showed her love of God and her family everywhere she went.

You obviously had a wonderful mother.

See - I told you something amazing happened.
What an amazing gift these people gave me yesterday with their thoughts, prayers, and memories. And how amazing to have such wonderful things said about someone you love.

I am so glad you got the "amazing" gift. Tears are rolling down my face as I read your post. I bet knowing you I get a glimpse of what your mother was like. And I understand how you must miss her. But I know you are doing a great job of sharing what she was like with your kids and being the great parent that you are is something she would be so proud of! You are one dynamic and amazing person yourself.
