While watching Yo Gabba Gabba, Sam told me that the characters were just people dressed up in costumes. Except for the robot - he's real!
I entered the family room the other day to find Sophie in the chair holding on to my (rarely used) yoga strap and Sam laying on the floor holding on the the other end of the yoga strap. I ask what they were playing. Both replied, "Fishing." Sophie being the fisherman and Sam being the fish!!
Sophie asked me to tell them which of the 2 of them I loved most. I could only pick one. Sam smiled really big and said, "Cross your fingers Sophie!"
The other day I offhandedly (is that a word) told Sam I was poor. He said, "No you're not. You've got us!"
Tonight while cuddling with Sam he said, "I'm so glad we're a family!"
Sam told Sophie not to worry (while watching the Thriller video) because the zombies aren't real!!
I love all these little things that I hear and see. I feel so incredibly lucky to be a part of these wonderful children's lives.
My heart is so full!!!
