Crazy Busy

Wow!!

There is a lot going on around here!!

There's been the regular weekly stuff like doing homework with Sam. In photo above (Sam wanted me to take a picture of it so he could show his teacher) he had to make objects to their letter card. He is learning so much.

The other day he was telling me something about an animal. I asked him where he learned that Wild Kratts or The Cat in the Hat? He looked at me so seriously and said, "Mrs. HisTeacher'sName!"

We've made a trip to DC to see the cherry blossoms. It was a great trip. I'm not sure Sophie and Sam loved seeing the trees as much as I did, but they had a fun day just the same.

Sophie had Decades Day at her school and she choose the 80's. That was really great and really easy being that I remember the 80's quite well and everything 80's is new again. Have you been to Claire's lately? Neon colors, leg warmers, lace gloves!! Totally awesome!!!

I have also been "training" for a 10K. When my "training" did not go as planned, I decided to walk it with 3 friends. IT WAS SO MUCH MORE FUN than "running" alone. I think I have found my new way to participate in races.

I have also been help to plan Sophie's school variety show. It is amazing how much time it has taken. And I am only helping. My friend Dana is really in charge. I hope we are still friends when this is all over. I'm a little high maintenance.

There has also been yard work, field trips, church meetings, swim lessons, soccer games, choir practice, book club and I don't know what all!

All I know is that it has been crazy busy around here lately!!

But I am loving it!!!
