Over the last week we have been really busy. Sophie started ballet and, of course, I thought she looked too cute. I do think that this will be good for her coordination and direction following. When the teacher asked the girls to face the mirrors my child turned to the side, and when she asked the girls to put their foot to the side, my child put her foot forward. I couldn't help but laugh. She was so happy and had the best time - she smiled the whole time and can't wait until her next lesson.
Sophie also went bowling for the first time. We went with our friends Mrs. Kari, Emma, and Baby Brody. Emma and Sophie were so excited - they couldn't wait until it was their turns again. Sophie did pretty well - she actually got a strike - which is more that I can say for myself.

Friday night we went to a local farmer's market for a Scooby Doo movie. It was so neat. They set out rows of hay bails and served hot chocolate and popcorn. We also went with Mrs. Kari and her family. Sophie loved it. Apparently they do this every Friday night in October.
On Saturday we took Sophie to one of her favorite places - the pumpkin patch. We drove to the a berry farm. My favorite thing was the homemade donuts, but Sophie got to pick her own pumpkins which she loved. She picked the smallest ones she could find. One of the neat things they do is let you get as many pumpkins as you can carry for $20.
