Merry Christmas from our family to yours. I know it is a little late but we have been sooo busy with holiday visits and shopping and all things Christmas. It was wonderful to see our everyone. I thought I would share some photos of family and friends.

Nail painting at M & Ts house. One of our slumber party activities.

Friends from Russia with a couple of home grown friends.

Dress up - not really sure what the pose is all about. I think it had something to do with T in Spiderman pose.

On Christmas Eve our family always attends the church we attended as children for the annual Christmas pageant. This year both Sophie and Dylan were angels. How precious is this? They both walked in together and stood on the stage until time to exit. We were all so proud. I also had one of those Mommy moments during the singing of Silent Night. I am going to get sappy for just a second. At the conclusion of the service the congregation always sings Silent Night while holding candles. Sophie wanted to hold the candle so we let her with some help from Daddy. As the singing began I realized Sophie knew all the words. I became overwhelmed with joy. I was remembering that while we were waiting on Sophie to come home I was so focused on missing all the firsts - first step, first tooth. But as I watched her proudly holding that candle and singing so joyfully about Christ's birth I thought about how blessed I am to be her mom and witness this first. And as I was tearing up she turned her head - hair slinging - and I thought her hair was going into the flame and was about to catch fire so I gasped - VERY LOUDLY - to which all my sisters turned and looked at me and we all started giggling. Anyway moment passed but still a memory that I will always treasure. Here are some more pictures from church.

I just posted this because my nephew Drew is just so cute.

After returning to my parents from church we tried to take a few additional pictures - it did not work out so well.

We left my parent's on Christmas day and drove to Scott's sister's house in NC. This is Sophie with 4 of her cousins on Daddy's side of the family. Could they be more beautiful and handsome?
Anyway Santa is visiting our house tonight. Don't you think Santa is so nice to deliver our gifts several days after his usual night of deliveries? I am sure he is tired but he understands the importance of visiting family and friends. So look for more Christmas pictures in the coming days - I know you can hardly wait!!!
