I can't believe you are five already!! It seems like yesterday we were in Russia meeting you for the very first time. You have grown from a scared little baby to a happy confident little girl. My heart leaps with joy every time I see you smile. I will leave you with a funny story about Sophie's idea about aging.
The other day I told her I did not want her to be five so I was going to put a book on her head so she would not get any bigger. I wanted her to stay 4 forever. She informed me that her party invitaions had already been sent so it was too late. So apparently a birthday is official when an invitation is sent.
I figure with that thought process I am still 27. That was the last time I had a birthday party.
She also told me this morning that she already missed being four.
