*got really depressed
*lost my last grandparent
*decided to adopt from the Republic of Georgia
*lost my mother-in-law
*the Republic of Georgia decided to halt adoptions indefinitely
*got really depressed again
*switched to Russia - waiting for a baby girl
*found strength and faith I did not know I had
*really nurtured my relationship with God
*went from teaching 3rd grade to T1
*took one last big trip with just the 2 of us
*traveled to central Siberia
*adopted the most fabulous little girl ever
*became a stay at home mom
*decided to adopt again
*moved to another state
*traveled again to central Siberia
*adopted the sweetest little boy ever
*lost my mother to cancer
*resurrected that strength and faith
*realized that despite all the ups and downs of life I am absolutely and completely blessed
Looking ahead is a little frightening. I will have 2 teenagers one of which will be driving. I will be a few years from 50. I can't even imagine what life will be like for our family by then. One thing is certain ten years will go by quickly and I hope to savor every moment of it.

Wow. Isn't it wild and a blessing how God allows us to go through so much and yet it's amazing when we look back and see how hard those times were and how far we've come?
Wow, we've all been busy haven't we? I look forward to having you guys in Richmond for the next 10 years...hint hint:)
