A weekend or so ago we took the kids on a train ride with Santa.
In Sophie's words, "It was awesome!"
It was really a great Santa. He was soft-spoken and told the kids he loved them.
Sam did not hesitate in telling him what he wanted - a Batman Mobile. Sophie was a little more shy - as usual. She did manage to tell him she wanted the while Fur Real puppy.
Sophie and Sam were thrilled to spend a few minutes St. Nick!
As an added surprise Mrs. Claus showed up. And she came with candy canes! She was precious. You could totally tell she loves seeing all the children.
I don't think it will be something we will do every year
but it was definitely worth every cold minute!!
