Sophie's Fear and Her Valiant Brother
I am not sure if I have mentioned before that Sophie is pretty much scared of her own shadow. You may remember The Elf on the Shelf. Recently she has not wanted to play in the playroom. Scott and I asked her why and got nowhere. After multiple attempts at finding out what was going on she finally confessed that some of our toys were a little scary to her and she was afraid they would come to life. Ok. Apparently we have watched Toy Story a little bit too much. So we tried to reassure but we not as successful as we would have hoped. One day she asked me if I would remove a couple of Barbies that were up on a shelf. These were the specific toys that were scaring her. Before I could answer her Sam told her if they did come to life he would punch them in the nose!!!

Really she's just lucky she doesn't have someone running down the hallway trying to sound like a horse and scaring her into thinking the headless horseman is coming down the hallway.
