Playroom Chaos or Not

At the end of the day does your playroom look like a storm blew through?

Mine usually does.

Fortunately (since every container is labeled) clean up is relatively easy.

And I don't mind because I know how important play is in a child's development.

However I often go in and am shocked that so much is in the floor.

Piles of play clothes. Small cars everywhere. Stuffed animals in every corner.

It is hard to find any rhyme or reason to their play.

This was not the case the other day.

I went in and found nearly every tub, drawer, and container emptied.

Contents spread all over the floor.

I think it was the messiest I had ever seen it.

And then the teacher in me felt such joy.

They had used the containers to sort all their stuffed animals.

They were doing math!!
