I love their differences!!!

Since my blog is mostly a record of things we do or things I want to remember about my children, I want to share a moment I had with Sophie and Sam on Sunday.

The three of us went to the mall on Sunday. Like a lot of malls our mall has a few fountains. Of course Sophie and Sam wanted a penny so they could make a wish.

I was on the phone with a friend and told her what we were doing. I also told her that while we were waiting on our return to Russia to bring Sam home Sophie always wished for her baby brother to come home.

About that time Sam turned around and announced with gusto that his wish was to be a super hero with a cape!

Sophie turned around and said she wished for our cat to get better.

Such typical wishes for their personalities.

Sam is so full of energy and Sophie is so sensitive.

I love their differences and how much joy and happiness they bring to my life.

A side note: I am pretty sure Sophie's wish will not come true this time. My sweet cat Peyton has been sick for a couple of weeks and at this point the vet does not think he will get better. We are trying a different medicine until Friday. At that time we will have to make a really tough decision.
