We said goodbye to our sweet Peyton today.
His condition seemed to deteriorate overnight.
We decided there was no need to wait until Friday.
Sophie wanted to pray for him and Sam said he is with the angels.
Many tears were shed but we know we made the right decision.
He was just not going to get better and we could not watch him suffer any longer.
Peyton and our other cat Angel were such great comforters to me when I so desperately wanted children. There were many days and nights while I sat crying that the cats would curl up with me.
It was like they knew what I needed.
That is how I will remember him.
Loving and loyal.

Pretty new background on the blog! (If it's new...I read in google reader mostly.) So sorry about Peyton. I said goodbye to my first baby earlier this year and it was so hard.
I'm so sorry to hear about Peyton. Losing a pet is truly losing a family member.
I'm so sorry to hear about Peyton! He is in kitty heaven with TONS of catnip! :-) Losing a pet is so hard... hope you guys are hanging in there!
