I was just catching up on your blog, having found it after you posted kind, encouraging words on my blog. I can't believe you have had to wait so long but like you said it must be somehow part of God's plan. I doubt we will ever understand that, but it's enough to know that God is in control. Your daughter is such a sweetie. Have fun with her and good luck getting ready for your big trip coming up. (I bookmarked your site now, thanks for finding me).
