Sophie completed her ice skating lessons a few weeks ago. She LOVED it!! I know she is not ready for the Olympics or anything but I was totally impressed with how much she learned in just 8 weeks. She is already asking when she can take more lessons. I think we will wait for next winter since she starts soccer this weekend. 
We took Sophie tubing recently. We wanted to do a special trip just for her while she is still an only child. She is such a little thrill seeker so we thought she would think tubing was fabulous. She did have a good time. She smiled constantly. However she said she liked staying home better because our house had a playroom and the hotel did not. I said that was true but our house didn't have tubing. She seemed to mull this over but I don't think it changed her mind. Really when will I learn? All my child needs is a box and her playroom.

Isn't that the truth! All you need is a couple empty boxes to keep them entertained.
Have I ever told you the time that I got a box from preschool and cut eyes in it and put it on Eli's head and told him he was a robot? He wore it all day long. Tried to take his bath with it on. LOVED it.
And have I mentioned that at least three of the big ticket items from Christmas are ALREADY BROKEN AND THROWN AWAY? Color me THRILLED. They are all getting boxes for their birthdays.
Sophie is adorable. I especially LOVE the hat!!! Looks like she is having way too much fun. I am jealous that we don't have a skating rink nearby!!!!!
