I got so tickled listening to Sophie and Sam play tonight. They decided to play like they were on the Electric Company. I loved that show when I was a younger. I think it is so cool that PBS has a new version for my children to enjoy. And enjoy it they do. What was so cute and amusing to me was them yelling, "Hey you guys!"
This is apparently the original sketch that featured that line. Do you recognize the man in the white mustache?
Of course while looking for video I read about the Electric Company on Wikipedia.
At the end of the entry it compared to 2 shows.
It said the original Electric Company refers to a actors in comedy sketches where "the new series refers to a group of super heroes who battle villains in the name of literacy."
No wonder my kids love it!!
