Do you remember when being something and a half was a big deal? I do. I am happy now just being something with NO half. However Sophie is 4 and a half today and she is very excited about being half way to 5. She for some reason thinks when you turn 5 you get walk to school. She just doesn't get that we live several miles from school and walking there is not happening. Since her birthday is in August she doesn't get to have a party at school on her actual birthday. So yesterday at preschool she got to have a half birthday party - she was pretending to be 5. 
It was super cute. I took in cherry donut holes - they were pink - perfect for a princess. The boys kept calling them meatballs. They all thought that was so funny. Sophie got to lead the blessing and share her birthday story. She was so proud.

Sophie got to lead the blessing and share her birthday story. She was so proud. It was also pajama day and the kids got to have pancakes after I left. Poor teachers. I am glad I got to leave.
Sam also has a half birthday coming up. He will be 18 months tomorrow.
