Well it finally happened.
She prayed for Doe Doe.
A couple of weeks ago I was talking with some friends about Sophie's imaginary friends and Julie asked if she ever prayed for them. I told her no and while I had never thought about it before that moment I was surprised that she had not. After all Doe Doe runs errands with us, he moved with us, and we've even kept his cat when he went on vacation to Hawaii. I even found out the other day that he gives fashion advise. Just in case you were wondering he thinks turtlenecks make you look funny. But no prayers.
That all changed tonight. It was no elaborate prayer just a simple thank you for Doe Doe.

That sounds great. Meredith's prayers generally contain all family members EXCEPT Mom and Dad, all of her stuffed animals, her bed, her blankets, etc. Sometimes it can take her almost 10 minutes to get through a prayer. No imaginary friends yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
oh, that's how you spell "Doe Doe" - funny that we had just talked about it. How about the others?
I just knew Sophie was brilliant...I think imaginary friends are a sign of genius. I had many as a child, hehehe!:)
