After sitting either at someone else's house, my own house, or in the car for hours I am exhausted. Getting back to our real life is very tiresome. Scott has gone back to work, Sophie is back in school, and I am back to stripping wallpaper and painting. I am so tired I can't sleep. Has anyone else ever had that problem? I am having those kinds of dreams that do not make any sense and I wake up I am as tired as I was when I went to bed. As if we did not have enough going on we also signed Sophie up for ice skating lessons - they start today. This is on top of ballet.
My New Year's resolution is to get more organized and stay on top of things. That might be a little hard to do. Maybe I need to resolve to slow down and take a real vacation. A nap once in while would be helpful too.
Anyway I wish everyone a very Happy New Year!!! In this coming year I hope that we get more settled in our new home in our new town and we get to go get Sam as soon as possible. This is a new year with new possibilities.
Hey this post is not as wordy and there are no pictures either. That's something!

Getting back to reality can be hard, huh? I thought we were getting new furniture...now it looks like we are getting a new front porch, roof repair, and a hot water heater. So much fun! Just try to make sure you slow down enough to take some time for yourself. Let me know if you ever need to get a coffee break on a Tues or Thurs.
I'm with you on the sleeping thing...I'm a major insomniac and have the hardest time sleeping, even though I'm so exhausted. And then I'm crabby the next day, because I'm still tired....endless cycle.
Yeah to Sam coming soon!!! Claire is so excited to have a boy friend (or boyfriend?? :)
