This week we went and picked strawberries with several of our friends. We had a great time. The berries are so sweet and juicy. After we picked the berries we had a picnic and then headed home for naps.
Sophie LOVES strawberries.
Sam mostly picked berries, dumped the berries out, and picked up the berries. He was much more interested in the tractors than berry picking.

The whole gang - notice my child is the only one standing because he can't sit still for any amount of time.
This has nothing to do with this post - Several people commented on our tourist attire in my previous post. I thought I should address this. These are not clothes we would wear if we were touring regular stuff. However we received a memo before our White House tour and it said to wear West Wing appropriate attire. We otherwise would have been wearing shorts and flip flops.

How fun! Mine have been eating cherries off the tree all evening! I LOVE strawberries too!
Well, I don't know about you and Scott, but I was definitely dressed to impress the entire time I was in D.C. I toured all the sites while wearing heels. I don't know how those flip flops got in my purse. Weird...

Have you seen the "Jamberry" book? It is one of my favorites. We haven't been berry picking yet. We usually go in May but each day we thought to go it rained. Oh well!
It is truly amazing how much you all resemble!!! People tell me this all the time also, so I know it can get annoying...but WOW! Beautiful family!!!
P.S. Did the package ever arrive??? If not, I'll be sure to look into it...
Strawberries and naps - 2 of my favorite things! :)
Strawberry picking is one of our most favorite activities. I always offer to weigh the kids before we go into the field and then again when they come out because they eat soooo many right off the vine -- as evidenced by the red juice all over their chins. Fortunately, no one has ever taken me up on that offer.
Both your kids are so adorable. Our little girl may be in Baby House 1 of the same region. We'll find out for sure today.
