Bedtime Stories and Lullabies

A few weeks ago as we were putting Sophie to bed she asked if Baby Sam got bedtime stories and lullabies everynight like she does. What a sweet question! Of course, we knew the answer was unfortunately no. How in the world could so few caregivers read to 100+ children each night? Not wanting to make Sophie sad about his, Scott told her Baby Sam would get them when he came home.

Well, I am happy to answer Sophie's question now. Yes, my love, Baby Sam now gets bedtime stories and lullabies, too. And he is in the next room sleeping peacefully.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!

Okay, stop that. I am not a crier and that just made me spontaneously burst into tears. I am supposed to be balancing my checkbook. Stop it.

That was so sweet. Just wait till you get home and you are able to tell those stories to both of them. You will all enjoy those special moments!!
